The year 2000 was a defining year for Mr. Rajan Lall. As the head of A&E Products- India & CMD of ITL Industries Limited, he was offered an opportunity to cover the Middle East region as a licensee of A&E Products (then a part TYCO Group a Fortune-500 company). Garment Trims and Accessories (GTA) was thus established as a branch of the ITL Industries Limited, one of the industry icons in its segment in India with Mr. Rajan Lall at its helm as Chairman and Managing Director.
Armed with extensive experience, managerial foresight and combined with the efforts of a dedicated team of professionals, GTA products became synonymous with quality that was of the highest standards. Their unparalleled customer service led them to win accolades and resulted in an ever-increasing client base. With the resulting exponential growth in business, GTA established their independent identity in the industry. The acquisition of an existing plastic injection molding factory in 2002 further paved the way for GTA not only to commence manufacturing of top selling hangers but to also foray into the several other plastic manufacturing products like Pails for Paint and Oil Industries, Battery Boxes for the Automotive Industries and Packaging for the FMCG industry to name a few.
The success story that has helped GTA to become the largest manufacturer of plastic hangers in the Middle East & African (MEA) region is rooted in Mr. Lall’s vision, commitment, drive and unwavering customer support. Presently GTA has manufacturing facilities in Jordan, Kenya, Lesotho (South Africa), and Dubai having installed capacity of 5000 MT / annum, poised to increase in near future. Molding machines tonnage ranges from 130 to 650 ton. Collectively these factories are currently producing hangers that fulfill the product demand needs in the Middle East and the entire African region for Garment Manufactures supplying to the biggest US retailers like Walmart, Macys, JC Penneys, Kohls and several others. It is the same vision and drive that is shaping the plans of these factories such that they can produce the entire range of their plastic products in the foreseeable future in all the current units.
From the onset, product quality has been accorded the highest importance within the group followed closely by customer service. It is as a result of this foresight that GTA is known across diversified markets for its high quality products. Stringent quality control systems are adhered to, with the factory and processes internationally certified by Wal-Mart and Macys in addition to being ISO 9001 certified. The already existing high standards of customer service are further enhanced by modern internal audit systems.
As GTA moves towards more demanding markets and customers, it forges its inherent strength with innovative products and state-of-the- art technology to continuously strive towards maintaining high quality standards while offering a wide range of products and services.
